I have been working in the lighting industry since 1979, starting at Carlos Remes Lighting.

We imported porcelain vases, crystal, metal and capiz shell from China, Hong Kong, India Italy, and the Philippines, which we would convert into lamps at our factory in Northampton.

We supplied the retail market having John Lewis, Harrods and Selfridges amongst our clients.

We were one of the original exhibitors of Decorex, where we worked with interior designers, helping with their lighting needs.

Since 2017 I have been concentrating on the lampshade market and in 2026 I founded my own lighting company, working with established, specialist shade makers to offer quality lampshades made to your specifications.

I also work with lighting manufacturers to offering rewiring and testing service for lamps, chandeliers and wall lights.
